This is a fine example of an Onondaga Shops (L&JG Stickley) three door bookcase. There has been some minor restoration which I would be happy to discuss. The color is a beautiful deep warm brown. Measures 56 1/2 inches tall x 74 inches wide x 12 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley rocker number 475, fixed back, good original finish with some restoration and original upholstery.

L&JG Tall Back Chair: This is a rare chair displaying nice form with vertical slats on the back and sides (under the arms). The spring cushion seat has been reupholstered in tan leather and the condition is very good with an appealing warm color to the original finish. This chair is signed with “The Work Of” decal as noted in detail photo 3. The chair measures 45 inches tall x 27 ½ inches wide x 21 inches deep.

Unusual L&JG Stickley model #654 Double door bookcase. Original finish, very good condition, decal signature, "The Work Of...". 55" H x 50" W x 12" D
This is a fantastic set of six spindle dinning chairs with rush seats. The remarkable thing about this set is that the rush is original and in perfect condition. There has been no restoration to the chairs or rush. The chairs are a tall 41 1/2  inches and the seat measures 17 5/8 inches wide and 16 1/2 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley Tall Back Settee. An unusual and rare form. The seat has been professionally reupholstered with dark chocolate brown leather which compliments the rich original color of the Settee. It is signed with the red Handcraft decal as noted in detail photo 2. This piece has had minor conservation to the original finish. It measures 45 inches high x 58 ½ inches wide x 22 ½ inches deep.

Unusual L&JG Stickley model #654 Double door bookcase. Original finish, very good condition, decal signature, "The Work Of...". 55" H x 50" W x 12" D

This is one of the larger L&JG Stickley sideboards. It is cataloged as number 731 and measures 49 1/2" tall x 72" long x 25" deep. Refinished.

L&JG Stickley model number 561 tabourette table in excellent original finish and condition. These are becoming increasingly harder to find especially in this condition. This is signed with the Handcraft decal used c.1906-1910. Measures 18 inches tall x 16 inches square.

L&JG Stickley Rocker. This medium sized rocker displays nice design with a vertically slatted back and arched front stretcher under the seat. The spring cushion has been reupholstered and the chair has been beautifully refinished. This piece is unsigned. Measurements: 39 inches tall x 28 inches wide (at the arms) x 25 ½ inches deep (31 1/2 inches deep at the rockers)

Catalog number 737 L&JG Stickley sideboard descended through the original family to us. Very good original finish and condition. All drawers and cabinet doors lock with the original keys. Measures 62 inches tall x 54 inches wide x 24 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley double bed in nice original fish and condition. There has been some minor professional work where the side rails enter the head and foot board. It is signed with the Handcraft Decal. The head and foot board measure 58 inches wide and the head is 44 1/2 inches tall and the foot is 38 1/2 inches tall. It will accept a double box spring up to 55 inches wide by 76 1/2 inches long.

L&JG Stickley desk chair, original finish, tight (I had it re-glued) measures 37" tall x 16" wide x 15" deep.
Leopold Stickley named his first company Onondaga Shops after the county in NY he was doing business in. This triple door bookcase was made during this period. The tall gallery back, 5/4 inch thick sides and the hand wrought hardware were all indicative of this period. This case purchased in Fayetteville NY never left the town in which it was made and stayed with the same family since it was purchased, circa 1903. Excellent original finish and condition with no restoration. This measures 56 1/2 inches tall x 73 1/2 inches wide x 11 1/2 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley Library table in very good condition with an expertly refinished top. Measures 48 inches wide x 30 inches deep x 29 inches tall.

L&JG Stickley small Drop Leaf Table. This is nicely proportioned for a smaller sized drop leaf table. It is in good refinished condition and is signed on the bottom of the foot with the branded mark as noted in detail photo #1. Measurements are: 24 inches tall x 24 inches wide x 12 inches deep (at the feet with the sides down). Top measures 24 inches x 24 inches (with the sides up).

L&JG Stickley plant stand. This is a wonderful petite form displaying arched sides surrounding the top shelf. The piece is unsigned and has been nicely refinished. It measures 22 inches tall x 12 inches wide x 12 inches deep.

This is a very hard to find "cube" rocker in excellent condition with a very good recent deep red/brown finish and upholstered in a medium brown leather. The features that set this rocker apart from others are the the relationship of the slats and spaces, the height of the back and the positioning of the legs in front of the arms and the arch of the back. Measures 31 1/2" tall x 27" wide x 25" deep.

L&JG Stickley table. The top has had some finish work done to remove a stain otherwise it is in very nice original finish and condition. Measures 29 inches tall and 24 inches in diameter and marked with the Handcraft mark.

#836 High back chair. Excellent condition, mint original finish, new leather upholstery, "work of" decal. 44" H x 28" W x 22" D
Spindle rocker and armchair. Original finish and leather, unsigned. Rocker has split in leather. Armchair: 39" H x 20 1/2 W x 17 1/2 D; rocker: 34" H x 20 1/2 W x 17 1/2 D

L&JG Stickley magazine stand cataloged as number 45. This is in very good original finish and condition. Marked with the Handcraft mark this must be a transitional piece somewhere between the chamfered board back and the plywood back, this has a solid wood panel as the back. Measures  45 inches tall x 21 inches wide x 12 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley model number 643 bookcase in excellent original finish and condition. This is one of the narrower two doors produced by all the Stickley brothers. Copper hardware and signed with the work of decal. Measures 55" tall x 36" wide x 12" deep.

L&JG Stickley small table, original finish, very good condition. Marked with the handcraft mark used between 1906 and 1912. Measures 18 inches tall x 16 inches square.

This L&JG Stickley strap hinge sideboard is in excellent original finish and condition. The top is stain free and is a bit lighter in color than the base. All drawers work smooth, a very functional piece. Signed with the Handcraft mark. This measures 36 inches tall to the work surface and the plate rail is another 12 inches, it is 56 inches wide and 22 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley Bow Arm Morris Chair, model #406. This chair is one of the largest reclining arm chairs produced by any of the Stickley Co.'s. It is in excellent original finish and condition with dark brown leather upholstery done a few years ago. The finish shows the appropriate wear for a piece well taken care of, celebrating nearly 100 years of age. Measures 38 1/2 inches tall by 34 inches wide and 40 1/2 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley Encyclopedia Table # 516. A very versatile and useful table that is unique to L&JG Stickley. This table was described in "Innovation and Derivation", a catalog published by The Craftsman Farms Foundation as "...a bold design in the form of a massive cube relates to the pure geometry of the Modern movement. A playful alternation of solids and spaces lends visual interest and utility."

This piece is in very nice condition with a nicely refinished top. Measures 27" x 27" x 27".

L&JG Stickley rocker model number 475, fixed back, in great condition with new leather back cushion and covering over the original spring seat. Measures 37 inches tall by 32 inches wide by 35 inches deep.

L&JG Stickley #611 desk. Excellent condition with a recent finish, Signed with the "Work of..." Decal and measures 34 3/4" tall to the top of the gallery, 42" wide and 26" deep.
Signed with the "work of ..." decal, dark side of medium finish, 30" in diameter, very good original finish.
L&JG Stickley table with lower shelf. I have always felt this was one of their better forms. The proportion is nice and it is extremely functional as a side table or even out in front of a settle. This is in very nice condition with a finish that appears to have been cleaned down, but done well. Signed with the Handcraft decal.  Measures 24" tall x 24" in diameter.
This is a very nice small scale rocker. It is in excellent original finish and condition and upholstered in a nice beige cotton twill over the original spring seat. Signed with the "Work of ..." decal. Measures aprox 33 1/2" tall x 23" wide x 20" deep.
This L&JG Stickley library table is in excellent condition. It displays the inside corbels that Gustav Stickley popularized in his earliest furniture. It was produced from beautiful quarter sawn White Oak and retains its original finish on the base, the top has been refinished. Notice the great patina on the hardware. This measures 29 inches tall x 48 inches wide x 30 inches deep.
Arm rocker number 837 in very good original finish and condition with it's original spring seat newly upholstered in dark brown leather. I have always liked this model. The height of the back with the extra horizontal rail and the shape of the arms adds to the look. 42" tall x 28" wide x 22" deep.
