Extremely rare Liberty and
Co. square pewter biscuit tin by Archibald Knox, 1902-1904, with
large leaf and spade decoration. This has excellent definition
and is in great condition. Marked on bottom the letter “T” above “TUDRIC” above
the numbers “6237” and measure 4 5/8 inches tall
to the top of the raised handles and is 4 ½ inches square.

Liberty and Co. pewter biscuit
tin with enamels by Archibald Knox, 1902-1905. Rare version of
this form incorporating beautiful blue-green enamel plaques.
Excellent condition overall with superior definition, and condition
of enamel. Marked on bottom “Made in England” above “ENGLISH
PEWTER” above the numbers “0194”. Measure 4 ½ inches
tall by 4 ¾ inches square.

Rare Liberty and Co. pewter
bowl by Archibald Knox, 1902-1905, with an original glass insert
made by James Powell and Sons of Whitefriars. Excellent condition
overall with superior definition. (note; picture this full of
red M&M’s for the holidays) Marked on bottom the number “0
319” “ENGLISH PEWTER”, “RD427354” and “Made
in England”. Measure 3 1/4 inches tall, and 5 1/8 inches
in diameter.

Liberty and Co. pewter bowl
by Archibald Knox, 1902-1905, with a “Clutha” glass
insert made by James Couper and Sons, Glasgow. The definition
in the flowers is unusually good and the original Clutha glass
insert is spectacular with a striking pattern of gold dust embedded
in the glass. Excellent condition overall. Marked on bottom the
number “8” “tudric”, “0276”.
Measure 5 inches tall to top of pewter base, and 6 1/4 inches
to top of glass. The piece is 7 inches in diameter.

Liberty and Co. pewter two
handled vase, design attributed to Archibald Knox, 1902-1905.
A similar decoration is seen on other documented Knox pieces.
Excellent condition with good definition. There is a very, very
small dent on the bottom edge. Marked “TUDRIC” above “0228” on
bottom, measure 5 7/8 inches tall and the handles span 4 ¾ inches.

Liberty and Co. pewter vase
by Archibald Knox and quite similar to other Knox designs, 1902-1905.
The well defined hammered surface is in excellent condition with
two very minor indentations near base. Marked on bottom the number “2” above “ENGLISH
PEWTER” above the numbers “0227” above “Made
in England” and measure 9 ¼ inches tall, the top
opening is 3 3/8 inches in diameter and each fin extends from
the center of the vase nearly 3 inches.
