Price
A Wasco-Wishram Sally Bag. I am a bit unfamiliar with this type of basket
due to their rarity. This appears to be woven in hemp or horsehair or
even a combination of both. Extremely tight and very flexible. I had a
collector comment that it may have been made by the Nez Perces. Any comments
welcome. Stands 6 1/2" tall and approximately 7 " in diameter.

Apache Polychrome Decorated Olla, Circa 1900. Fine coiled storage basket
on willow base with designs of geometric repeating patterns that terminate
with altering diamonds and crosses; 8" high x 7 1/2" diameter.
Excellent condition.

A Yokuts Coiled Open Bowl with a small flat bottom and gracefully flaring
sides terminating at a tight shoulder. Finely woven in sedge, blackened
bracken fern root. Decorated with a series of interlocking diamonds under
a single row of connected diamonds that roll nicely over the shoulder.
Incredibly tight and in perfect condition. 5" in diameter and 2 1/4"
tall.

aia4 - A Hopi polychrome bowl. This is decorated with a geometric banded
frieze in black and red on a warm creamy ground. 9" in diameter and
3 ¼" tall.

aia6 - A Pima coiled tray woven in willow and devil's claw with a "whirling"
meander pattern. 13 ¾" in diameter and 4" tall.

aia8 - A Zia Polychrome Storage Jar with a classically elegant splayed
body and concave base painted over a pinkish cream slip in black and red.
Decorated with opposing birds under the classic double bands. 10 ½"
in diameter and 8 ¾" tall.

aia10 - An Acoma Polychrome Jar of classic form with concave bottom
painted over a creamy white slip in black and pale to deep orange. This
is decorated with a bold curvilinear and angular all over pattern. 10
