For several years Dalton's has produced frames for both our own period artwork as well
as that of customers.  Everyone
that sees them has admired these frames. We use quarter sawn American
white oak with an authentic fumed color enhanced by stain.The finish
is shellac applied by hand, rubbed and waxed. This process gives
the frame a warm glow that mimics the effect of time. We stock a
frame that accepts a 16" X 20" mat size that is appropriate for most
woodblock images. The cost of the stock frame is $275 plus shipping.
